Reverend Khensur Tenzin Jungne the Sixth Jhado Rinpoche was born in 1954 in Tibet, in 1959 came to India in exile. After coming into exile Rinpoche completed his traditional Buddhist studies at Sera Je Monastic University in South India. He was awarded the highest Geshe Lharampa Degree in 1991. Rinpoche successfully completed the entire tantric trainings at Gyuto Tantric College and became an accomplished master. In 1992 he was appointed the master teacher at Namgyal Monastery, and also served as its Abbot until 2004.

In 2014 Rinpoche was appointed Abbot to Gyuto Tantric College for a three year term. Since Rinpoche has been travelling extensively in different parts of the world giving teachings and initiations at the request of his followers and disciples. He is currently one of the most esteemed master-scholars and holders of Buddha Dharma, and in particular the Gelugpa tradition. Rinpoche is well known and respected for his strong integrity and for being an ardent follower of His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s advice and instructions.
Tuesday 21st – Wednesday 22nd October 1000 Armed Chenrezig Initiation
Initiation into the practice of Thousand-Armed Chenrezig is a significant event in the tradition of Tibetan Buddhism. This initiation, often referred to as an empowerment grants practitioners the authorisation to engage in specific meditative and ritual practices associated with Chenrezig. Aiming to cultivate profound compassion and committing to the path of benefiting all sentient beings.
Session One 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm
Session Two 5.30 pm – 7.30 pm.
Tea and coffee will be provided in the break.
Thursday 23rd – Monday 27th October Solitary Hero Yamantaka Commentary
Commentary on the Solitary Hero Yamantaka Sadhana. Please note that to attend this teaching, you must have taken the Yamantaka Initiation. Rinpoche has instructed that participants attending the Yamantaka commentary are committed to practice the short Solitary Hero Yamantaka sadhana daily for the remainder of their lives.

Tuesday 28th October Lama Je Tsongkhapa Empowerment
Lama Je Tsongkhapa Empowerment: Subsequent permission of The combined Practice of the Three Families by Depending on Lama Je Tsongkhapa. Attendance is contingent upon having already taken a higher Yoga Tantric initiation. However, Rinpoche has advised that participants who have not taken a Higher Yoga tantric initiation and wish to attend the initiation may do so by attending the One Thousand Arm Chenrezig initiation that Rinpoche will bestow at the commencement of the teachings.
For the second session we will be doing Long Life Offering to Rinpoche and conclusion of teachings
